Application Process
Eligibility Requirements for Individual Applicant:

1. At least 18 years old or older

2. High School Graduate or GED

3. A valid license and a reliable transportation are critical for long-term employment.

Steps for Individual Membership Application:

1. Submit an
Application for Orientation Power Point Apprenticeship 101 form to the Merit Apprenticeship Program (MAP). The application form is writable for you to be able to enter your information into the PDF document. Click on the blank to start typing. Note: You do not need to scan your completed document. All you have to do is to save it on your computer or cell phone and attach the saved PDF to email upon submission of your application. MAP will confirm receipt of your application and send you the online voice over PowerPoint Presentation via email. You must inform MAP immediately after viewing the PowerPoint Presentation if you want to proceed to the next step. If you have any questions, call MAP at (781) 273-0123.

2. MAP will email you the Primary Application Package. Please complete, include any other required documents and email back to MAP for review.

3. After reviewing your application, MAP will contact you to schedule your interview/evaluation.

4. (Optional) Aptitude Test. Following a satisfactory interview, qualified MAP candidates may be required to take an aptitude test related to their chosen construction trade craft at a date and time determined by ABCMA.

WorkKeys is a job skills assessment system which tests individuals in Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information. Successful completion of WorkKeys results in a National Career Readiness Certificate.
